DESCRIPTION:A visit to the Tower of London to see the Ceremony of the Keys\, followed by drinks int he Yeoman Warders Club. We will be expected to purchase some raffle tickets from the Yeomen\, and make a £10 donation to be split between Little Havens Hospice and The Red Cypher. \n\n\n\nThere is a limit of 60 attendees\, so please check with W Bro. Bryan Longman for availability. \n\n\n\nI hope that you are looking forward to your visit to the Tower of London. The first draft of the admin instructions are as follows\, please pass this information on to your guests: \n\n\n\nDate: Saturday 11March 2023 \n\n\n\nRV Point: West Gate\, Tower of London \n\n\n\nTime: 19:25 hrs sharp\, gates close to all after we enter. \n\n\n\nDress code: Suit or Jacket and tie for Gentlemen (no denim jeans or trainers) and equivalent for the Ladies. \n\n\n\nEquipment: Wallet for cash bar and Tower of London Raffle\, this is a raffle organised by the Yeoman Warders on the night\, any money raised goes to their charity.  Comfortable shoes for cobbled paths. \n\n\n\nRations: Close by is an adequate JD Wetherspoons “The Liberty Bounds” for healthy snacks and a small libation before 1925 hrs. \n\n\n\nExecution – General Outline: \n\n\n\n1. 19:25 hrs Gather outside West Gate \n\n\n\n2. 19:30 hrs Tour of the grounds\, kindly led by Yeoman Warder possibly Andy Shedden lasts about 1 hour. \n\n\n\n3. 20:30 hrs Yeoman Warders’ Mess for drinks and Tower of London raffle \n\n\n\n4. 21:30 hrs On parade for Ceremony of The Keys and the Last Post \n\n\n\n5. Return to Yeoman Warders’ Mess \n\n\n\n6. Exit around 22:30 hrs. \n\n\n\nDonations: I will be asking for a donation of £10 per person and this will be split between the Sibelius Lodge Charity (Little Havens) and Bob Lodge’s charity The Red Cypher.  Bank details will be sent out separately once I have spoken to our Treasurer and I ask that all donations are paid prior to the day. \n\n\n\nTickets: Not required\, private tour\, but check with Bryan due to a maximum of 60 people. \n\n\n\nComms: Should there be any problems on the night\, please call Bryan on 07713 334734 \n\n\n\nStragglers: Will be brought in/removed in via Traitors Gate!
